My cut flower business is located here within the farmlands of Knockane, Ovens Co. Cork. I live here with my husband and 2 teenage kids. I grow a myriad of artisan flowers from seed using sustainable growing practices, without any chemicals , in tune with the seasons here in lovely Cork.
The concept is simple; Beautiful sustainable Cork grown flowers for Cork people, no air miles included!!
I supplement the growing area at home with an allotment which is luckily located nearby. I adore the growing of flowers from seed, the thrill of germination, the nurturing of the seedlings, the picking of the flowers at their peek and conditioning them to ensure the best vase life. Growing from seed means I can grow unusual varieties including my beloved cottage garden flowers with amazing scent. I also add interest from select grasses, seed heads and unusual foliage and fillers.
I supply seasonal bouquets directly to my customers, delivery is available locally. I also sell boquets through our local artisan craft shop @snoutCork in Ballincollig. I love to run a garden gate honesty box during the peak spring and summer growing seasons.
I curate flower installations for local restaurants , corporate events and special events be it a birthday party, communion or an intimate wedding. I am also happy to supply DIY buckets of flowers to my fellow flower lovers out there.
My floristry style would be cottage garden meets elegant and whimsical. My mission is to curate flower arrangements in tandem with my customers vision and hopefully beyond expectations.
