Clodagh’s Cottage Flowers – 100% Irish grown Flowers and foliage.

Hi, I’m Clodagh, I live and grow seasonal cut flowers in my garden at my home in South Leitrim, in a country area between Ballinamore and Carrigallen.

I grow and sell Spring bulb flowers, Summer flowers such as Roses, Peonies, Hydrangea, Dahlias, Valerian, Lupins, Ox-eyed daisies, Iris, Zinnias, Sweet William, Honesty, Foxglove, Crocosmia and various grasses and foliage. I also grow and sell willow wreaths and rings decorated with foliage of seasonal interest for Christmas and Easter.

Producing flowers and foliage as naturally as I can in the rain soaked soils of Leitrim! I do my best to grow, promote and sell my flowers sustainably. I also source as much as possible locally which I hope helps other small businesses and the local economy. Off season, to help fill an order I have ordered Irish grown flowers from other members of Flower Farmers of Ireland.

Sustainability to me also means growing my business in a naturally evolving way having a good balance and bearing in mind when enough is enough.

I attend Longford Farmers Market every Friday from June to mid September to sell various garden styled Market Bunches and DIY Buckets and bunches. On occasion during the off season I attend and sell seasonal items such as Christmas Wreaths, Holly, Ivy and at Easter some potted up about to bud spring bulbs.

I also sell (to order) garden style Bespoke Flower Arrangements for all occasions and DIY Wedding Buckets for those wanting to create their own. Wedding flowers and wedding DIY buckets must be booked 12 months in advance.
